Hello from Hoku Jr. and Sr.

Hoku Sr.

The children have gotten used to everything after being in classes for almost three months.  They are also more relaxed with their fellow classmates and have fun during the games we play in class to practice their English.  There have been many activities in our science classes, and the kids are learning a lot in geography, writing and spelling, and also the listening and speaking class.  

I would like to remind all students to remember to do their subject homework along with their Eiken writing homework.  Just one more month before summer break!  Let's do our best to remember to do all our assignments!  


 

Hoku Jr.

The new slew of kids this year are getting used to the routine and their own teachers.  In the reading and phonics class, they're enjoying the textbook DVDs that Mr. Vikas shows them to help them learn the words in their lessons.  The Petite English Theater class just finished putting on a show from their book, "The Town Mouse and Country Mouse".  They looked very cute in their little costumes and everyone tried their best to remember their lines.  However, they still needed help from the teacher when they forgot what to say.  


 

Hopefully, this progress will continue on throughout the school year!
